Hi!!!
Here are the few sketches that I happened to sketch at random..There were certain moments when I was watching TV or just moving by a traditional Indian restaurant or going to an exhibition wherein I see a group of Rajasthani folks with some of their traditional stalls which made me so refreshed and motivated to sketch something out of that. Have a look :)!!!

This is a character from one of the cartoons on Disney (I don't remember the name though ;) !!!...)

The second and the Third sketches are from a play  performed by a Rajasthani Group on their daily lifestyle in an Exhibition at my Hometown. I took some pics and sketched these two ladies standing in their respective positions and performing extra-ordinarily which attracted each and every visitor in that Exhibition (Mela).

This Sketch is also a Cartoon Character (Chinese) that I happened to watch somehow in one of the TV Channels. I found it very impressive and motivated to sketch ......

After Effects

Hi!!!!

Here comes some more of my sketches. I named this post as "After Effects", reason being, these I made two days after my first sketches, which actually made sketching  more interesting to me and influenced me to keep going... :)

Lord Shiva

This was a Statue in a Temple exactly opposite to my house.

Lord Krishna (Vatapatra Sai)

The above sketch shows the Avatar of krishna in which he was seen for the very first time. Also called "Vata Patra Sai".

Lord Raama

This image is from the same Mythological book, the one which I mentioned in my previous post.

My First Sketch

My name is Anusha. Most of my time is spent being bored in the evenings when Iam back home from my work. Initially, after getting married I used to watch TV a lot to keep myself engaged, when my husband will be busy with his meetings and the stuff most of the time. So, I decided to start sketching which I used to do the most in my school. 

If I think of when did I actually start Sketching... It was the year 2005, when my Grandma who is herself very talented in Creative activities had challenged me to sketch few pictures from one of the mythological books, which initially, I felt I would not be able to do. Finally, when I was done with my sketches, they actually turned out to be soo good and that was the moment when I thought that I should start sketching and should improve it more. 

When my husband saw all my sketches, he actually gave me an idea of blogging, wherein I would get a chance to improve it as well. Here are some of my initial sketches, I would like to share with you all.

(Above shown is my first sketch ever.viz. Godha Devi- A devotee of Lord Krishna ).

Please do not hesitate in criticizing or appreciating the same.
